An Overabundance of Wood Tools

Is there ever such as thing as too many tools? My husband and I have this discussion often. Whether it is a tool for the yard, electrical, plumbing or #woodworking, we seem to have the same opinion. We NEED it! However, there may come a time when you out-grow your space or its time to down-size. This is when the hard decisions are needing to be made. Which tools do I let go? Do I sell them? Who would want them? Nah…I CAN’T get rid of that! I know…I’ll get a storage unit. That’ll solve my problem.

I have discovered as I continue my #woodturning, that I make the effort to have the “space” for my new tool, whether it be something I find at a garage sale or a spiffy new shiny object I just have to get. It’s important to me that I have my own tools and many times I tell my husband – no touchy!

At this time, my husband nor I have any tools that need to find a new home.  Maybe you do or you have a friend or neighbor that is looking for a specific tool. I invite you to tell us your tool story and even list a tool for sale or one you need to find. We can have our own “Lost & Found Tools.”
